There are local shops selling food from the local fields, a butchers, a bakers and plenty of places to eat within the centre of the village, making Audlem a great place to spend a few nights.
When you arrive in Audlem you will pass the Audlem Mill. Built over 100 years ago the mill was run as an corn and animal feed mill until 1960, when it was converted into a shop and accommodation. Now the mill has a dual purpose, it is a shop run by its new owners and the Canal and River trust use it as a hub for canal maintenance purposes.
The route from Swanley Bridge Marina takes you straight through Nantwich, another great location and must see, local market town.
