Personal Data:

We request the following information at the time of application for a berth at Swanley Bridge Marina.

Contact details to include:- names; addresses; telephone numbers; email addresses; car registration numbers; boat name, dimensions/material; copies of insurance, licensing & boat safety certificate.

We only collect information that is relevant to you and your boat; provision of this information is voluntary.

What is this data used for?

To enable us to send information to you eg. invoices; insurance/BSSC reminders.

By signing your berthing application you are giving consent for us to use the information provided by you to contact you. Customers who share their email addresses with us will automatically receive communications from us by email. Customers who do not provide an email address will receive their information by post to the address given on the berthing application form.

Who is your data shared with?

Your data is only available to members of staff. The company does not disclose, share, or sell your information to other third party organisations or individuals.

How is your data stored?

Paper data is stored securely within the office. The office is locked and alarmed at all times outside of office hours. This same information is also stored electronically on the Marina Management System, a password protected data system – All electronic data storage is password protected.

How long is your data stored for?

Your details are normally kept for 6 years.
